Receptionist / Administrative Assistant

Position: Receptionist / Administrative Assistant
Job Type: Full-Time
Location: Calgary, Alberta

Responsibilities/Activities:
• Administering the office multi-line phone system.
• Operating fax machine, printers and other office equipment.
• Tracking incoming service requests using dispatching software.
• Ordering hardware and software materials for clients.
• Keeping inventory up to date, ordering office supplies.
• Organizing meals and coffee for business meetings.
• Preparing quotes for clients, pricing materials for our technicians.
• Using QuickBooks to create customer invoices and prepare bank deposits.
• Handling of all incoming and outgoing mail, scheduling couriers.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:
• Diploma in Business or Office Administration.
• Minimum of 5 years experience.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational and customer service skills.
• Superior communication skills (both oral and written).
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel ,Outlook, Internet.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Network Administrator / IT Support Analyst

Position: IT Consultant / Technical Support Analyst
Job Type: Full-Time
Location: Calgary, Alberta

Responsibilities/Activities:
• Install, configure and administer customer servers and workstations.
• Identify problems, troubleshoot and provide advice to customers, either on-site or over the phone.
• Install and configure network equipment and firewalls.
• Monitor network infrastructure reliability and operating systems on multiple platforms.
• Diagnose and repair problems.
• Document LAN and user environments in a clear and concise manner.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:
• 2 years experience in Network administration and Technical Support.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server 2000/2003, Active Directory/Domains, DNS, DHCP, Microsoft Exchange Server 2000/2003, Microsoft Windows 2000/XP.
• Previous experience in customer service.
• Microsoft Certification preferred. (MCSE, MCSA)
